West Branch Drug and Alcohol Abuse Commission has been designated as the Recovery Hub for Region 8. 

The hub was designed to provide technical assistance and collaborate with a variety of community entities, sectors, and systems to enhance a recovery-supportive community and facilitate recovery support service delivery.

Since being established the Recovery Hub has done needs assessments in each county in the region. Multiple connections with Recovery Organizations, individuals in recovery, the SCA’s and other resources in the region have been established in this time. Multiple recovery symposiums have been held allowing the communities to get together, learn and celebrate recovery champions in their area.

Now entering the second year and the focus is shifting to making more peer-driven trainings available throughout the region.
